Dream Atlas — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Zhan Rushman LLC ("Zhan Rushman," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Dream Atlas mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, or a higher minimum age if required by your country of residence. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. THE SERVICE

Dream Atlas lets you record a spoken or written account of a dream, transcribes it, and — if you choose — generates an AI-written analysis, summary, or deep reading of it. Some features are available on a free tier with monthly limits; others require a Pro subscription or a one-time Reading Pack purchase, as described in the App.

3. NOT MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, OR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

The App's AI-generated analyses, summaries, and readings are provided for reflection, self-exploration, and entertainment purposes only. They are generated by an AI model, are not reviewed by a licensed professional, and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the App. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact a local emergency service or a crisis hotline in your country immediately (in the United States, you can call or text 988).

4. YOUR CONTENT

You retain all ownership rights to the dreams, text, audio, and other content you create in the App ("Your Content"). By requesting an AI analysis or reading, you grant us a limited license to transmit the relevant text of Your Content to our AI infrastructure provider solely to generate that response. We do not otherwise use, license, or claim ownership of Your Content.

You're responsible for Your Content. Don't submit anything that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have the right to share.

5. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES

Pro subscriptions (monthly or yearly) and the one-time Reading Pack are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store, under Apple's own terms.

• Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID account settings.
• Where a free trial is offered, you will be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before it does.
• The Reading Pack is a consumable, one-time purchase that is not a subscription and does not renew.
• All payments are processed by Apple; we do not have access to your payment card information. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its own refund policies, not by us.
• Prices are shown in the App and may change; we'll give you a chance to review any price change before it applies to your subscription.

6. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code except as permitted by law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or the infrastructure it relies on, including our AI infrastructure provider.
• Use automated means to access the App outside of its normal user interface.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The App itself — its design, code, trademarks, and branding — is owned by Zhan Rushman LLC or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR MEANINGFUL, THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZHAN RUSHMAN LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR TEN U.S. DOLLARS ($10), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

10. TERMINATION

You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.

11. CHANGES TO THE APP OR THESE TERMS

We may modify or discontinue features of the App, or update these Terms, at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts — for example, as a consumer in the EU or UK.
